??Exciting Updates from Civic Reinventions, Inc.!

Hi! My Dear Friends,

I’m thrilled to share a new emphasis in my consulting work with Civic Reinventions, Inc. My approach to facilitation and training is evolving to meet the pressing needs of today’s nonprofits.

?? Strategic Plan Facilitation: I am now guiding organizations through strategic planning processes using Liberating Structures—a highly inclusive and engaging framework that energizes stakeholders and ensures all voices are heard.

?? American Mosaic DEI Immersion Workshops: I am facilitating a series of American Mosaic Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Immersion Workshops. These highly engaging and experiential workshops equip participants with insights and tools to build respect, inclusion, and belonging in their communities. Topics include unpacking stereotypes, unconscious bias, microaggressions, racism, privilege, and power, as well as exploring cultural differences in conflict and communication.

Workshops on Conflict Transformation: I’m also offering experiential workshops focused on de-escalating unproductive conflict and building active listening skills, particularly the art of listening non-defensively when facing criticism. These workshops turn tension into creativity and deeper collaboration.

I am passionate about working with nonprofits seeking to craft impactful strategic plans, foster inclusive environments, and convert conflict into greater alignment, innovation, and creativity.

Lastly, I’m excited to be working on a book entitled "Creative Conflict and the Quest for Authentic Community," where I explore these themes further.
