An exciting time in July

I started Aurora Strategic Advisors in 2015 to provide a new source of investment advice to the community.

Looking back to the beginning, I would like to thank Mark Sessions, Jonathan Locklear, and Robby Locklear for showing confidence and trust in my firm as they became my first three clients 5 years ago.

I remember when I told several people about what I was going to do, and I was not met with a lot of support. I heard things like we have other investment companies, new businesses in Rob Co mostly fail and finally, people do not embrace change well.

I am glad, I paid no attention to what I was hearing.

Today, we have over 250 accounts that I manage and provide investment advice.

We help teachers, nurses, doctors, medical techs, engineers, dentists, veterinarians, business owners, contractors, plumbers, IT techs, retirees, employees in several school districts, linemen, social workers, and individuals in a variety of other industries.

We moved into a larger office off Fayetteville Rd in April of 2019 and added additional staff. We had hoped to hire more people in 2020, but Covid-19 had a different idea.

I would like to say “Thank You” to all my clients both individually and commercially. I feel blessed by the Lord above my health, knowledge, and the opportunity given to me.

I want to thank the community for embracing the “New Jersey Guy”, but he has family from the area, so he is okay.

I said July was an exciting time.

Well, in addition to my company, I’m celebrating my 55th birthday and my 6-year relationship with Amy Barker. We bought a home together last year and this month marks one year since it was completed.

This morning, we welcomed 6 new clients who were recommended to us as we enter our 6th year.
