Exciting News for Space4Innovation!

At Space4Innovation, we believe in the power of collaboration to drive meaningful change. That's why we're thrilled to announce that John Firth , with nearly three decades of experience at the forefront of climate action, is joining us as our new Strategic Advisor.

With a rich background spanning the water industry, climate impact assessment, and strategic planning, John brings a wealth of expertise to our team. As the former CEO of Acclimatise and a Senior Director at Willis Towers Watson and now Honorary Professor at the University of Liverpool, his leadership in navigating climate risks and opportunities is unparalleled.

John's passion for transitioning away from fossil fuels, adapting to a changing climate, and fostering resilience aligns perfectly with our mission at Space4Innovation. His extensive work with governments, businesses, and international organizations underscores his commitment to driving actionable solutions.

"We are now in a climate crisis climate crisis," says John, "Stabilising the climate at 1.5°C or 2.0°C, in line with the Paris Agreement, is the least worst case we can now aim for. 1.5°C or 2.0°C are not 'safe levels' as both will have catastrophic impacts across the world in developing and developed countries. We are faced with systemic risk even if we stabilize our climate."

John's advisory role will be instrumental in guiding our efforts to harness space technology for sustainable development and climate resilience. His profound understanding of the value of Earth observation data in assessing climate risk and opportunities for adaptation and resilience underscores his relevance to our mission at Space4Innovation.?

Join us in welcoming John aboard as we embark on this journey of collaboration and innovation to build a more resilient and sustainable future for generations to come.?

Welcome, John! ?????
