Exciting news from the World Retail Congress

I am delighted to announce two major pieces of news from the World Retail Congress .

Having launched the Congress back in 2007, it is a proud and exciting moment to be able to say that I, together with my two fellow directors, Hanna Jackson and Imogen Jones , have now become owners of the brand following a Management Buyout of the World Retail Congress.

Today is the public launch of World Retail Congress Limited, the new owners of the Congress!

I am also delighted to say that Hanna, Imogen and I are joined by three brilliant colleagues: Niamh Stone , Milan Maksimovic and Natalie Wilkins .

Between us we have over 45 years’ experience working and building the incredible brand that is the World Retail Congress which brings together the most senior retail industry leaders from across the world. And many more years’ experience between us delivering content, events and insights for retailers. ?

There is huge potential to continue growing the World Retail Congress and our brand extensions like the recently launched World Retail Podcast in order to deliver great content that helps shape the future of the international retail industry.

And our second big announcement is that the 2025 Congress will take place in London at the Park Lane Hilton on May 12-14th! Following our recent meetings which have taken place in Rome, Barcelona and this year in Paris, the overwhelming view from retailers was that “it has to be London”!

We look forward to sharing more about our plans for 2025 over the coming weeks and months.
