The University of Gloucestershire has introduced a significant update for international students, particularly those from Pakistan. Starting with the January 2025 intake, the university will accept Medium of Instruction (MOI) and English Proficiency Letters (EPL) from select Pakistani universities, making it easier for students to meet English language requirements and pursue their academic dreams.

What is MOI and EPL?

Medium of Instruction (MOI) refers to the language used to teach students during their degree programs. An English Proficiency Letter (EPL) is a formal document issued by universities, confirming that the medium of instruction for a student’s degree was English. This means that graduates from specific institutions can apply without needing additional English language tests like IELTS or TOEFL.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to use an MOI or EPL for your application, you must have completed your degree from one of the approved universities within the last five years. This change is designed to streamline the application process for international students.

Who Can Apply

This initiative is open to graduates from 50 recognise Pakistani universities. If you meet the eligibility criteria and have your MOI or EPL letter, you are welcome to apply for your program of choice at the University of Gloucestershire.

Research Programs with Dependants

In addition to undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the University of Gloucestershire offers a Master by Research program. A key benefit of this program is that it allows students to bring their dependants along during their studies, providing essential support for those who wish to maintain family connections while pursuing higher education.
