Women's Only Kilimanjaro and Volunteering Expedition
Join our Women’s Only Kilimanjaro and Volunteering Trip from 1st March-10th March, 2024. Celebrate Women’s Day with a group of fellow women, participate in our projects empowering women such as soap-making, and collectively help us tackle issues of period poverty through distribution of reusable sanitary napkins and conduction of workshops on teenage pregnancy as well as maternal health.
Through the 'women's only' expedition, we want to showcase our commitment to improving the lives of girls and women. 52% of our child sponsorship and education beneficiaries are girls, and over half our staff identify as female. Additionally, 636 out of 800 supported farmers are women.
The volunteering trip will not only bring together women from different cultural backgrounds but will also allow volunteers to gain a rich cultural experience, learn from local community stakeholders, and put their expertise and skills to use for the good of the community. We want to connect our women volunteers with women from the community, creating cultural bridges and an international network of empowered women.
