We Want You … to Be a Contestant in the 2025 Tox ShowDown?
Tox ShowDown, the best (only?!?) team-based toxicology trivia game, is back for 2025, and we are looking for contestants. Come and nerd out with your fellow toxicologists!??
Don’t miss this opportunity to volunteer to be a contestant in the Tox ShowDown, which will take place the evening of Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, as part of the SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo!?During the Tox ShowDown, three teams of three players each—the Endocrine Disruptors, the Free Radicals, and the Toxic Metabolites—race against the clock to answer questions entirely, partly, or remotely related to toxicology. Topics cover a wide range of subjects, including the often-surprising roles of toxicology in history, current events, arts, culture, society, and even occasionally science. Don’t worry, we will have a skilled judge on hand to settle any intellectual disputes.?

Make a Lasting Impact: Be a Poster Tour Guide at the SOT Annual Meeting?
The SOT Postdoctoral Assembly (PDA) invites you to join them in shaping the future of toxicology by signing up as a guide for the Poster Tours for Trainees program that takes place during the SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo. Sign-Up is open now through January 27, 2025, and Full and Associate SOT member volunteers are needed!?
This 90-minute commitment is an opportunity to mentor the next generation of scientists while diving into some of the most exciting new research in toxicology. As a guide, you'll lead a small group of graduate students and postdoctoral scientists to explore posters in your area of expertise, providing insights, networking opportunities, and career guidance along the way.?
