We are excited to share the latest enhancements and features in BoldSign, which are designed to provide you with a more efficient and customizable eSignature experience.?

Tab Index Support for Form Fields?

Previously, the Tab key followed a fixed order for navigating form fields, starting from the top-left corner of the document and moving to the bottom-right. With the new update, you can customize the navigation order by assigning a specific tab index to each form field. For example, assigning tab indices like 1, 2, and 3 ensures that signers move through the fields in the specified order. Signers can also press Shift + Tab to navigate backward through the fields.? Additionally, setting a tab index value of -1 will exclude a form field from the navigation flow.??

Localization Support for Audit Trails?

Previously, the audit trail document was only available in English. We've now introduced the Generate Multilingual Audit Trail feature, which allows account administrators to enable audit trails in both English and the signer’s specified language. When this option is activated, the audit trail will automatically be changed to the signer’s preferred language while still keeping the English version. This ensures that all parties involved in the signing process can understand the details clearly, improving compliance and accessibility for international users.?

File Support in Merge and Send API?

We've enhanced the Merge and Send API to offer more flexibility when sending documents that merge multiple templates. Now, you can include files or file URLs along with the templates, and these extra documents will be added after the template documents.?

This update eliminates the need to create new templates just to include supplementary files, making it ideal for workflows that require attachments.??

Apple Sign-Up Integration?

We've introduced the Sign-up with Apple feature, adding to the existing Google and Microsoft options. Apple users can now sign in to their BoldSign accounts using their Apple ID, offering seamless access to the BoldSign web application and APIs.?

During account creation, users have the flexibility to share their email address or keep it private. If they choose to share it, their original email address will be used. If they opt to hide it, Apple will generate a private email address for their Apple ID.?
