Groceryshop was last week and we were there.

For marketers in the retail industry, Groceryshop was a chance to break away from the day-to-day to explore disruptive new trends and technologies. Retailers, brands, and others in the industry heard new insights and best practices related to how consumers shop today.

Besides a great lineup of speakers and a showroom of almost 300 solution providers, it was great to talk to so many industry friends.

Here are some of the most exciting things we saw…

  • Instacart?showcased its?‘Connected Stores’ concept, bringing online shopping personalization into the offline world.
  • Jupiter?announced a newly launched shoppable recipe platform to connect food influencers to consumers.
  • Firework?highlighted their shoppable livestreaming and short videos that work well on e-commerce sites.
  • Walmart?was a seller, highlighting many of its proprietary technology and services to other retailers.?
  • And, last but not least,?Albertsons?showed more than half of a dozen ways they leverage technology to accelerate omnichannel.?
