Early engineering works to begin for greenfield development in U.S. Gulf of Mexico
Seatrium Limited recently gained a Letter of Intent by BP Exploration & Production Inc. to conduct early engineering works for BP’s Kaskida Floating Production Unit project. The project is a greenfield development in the Keathley Canyon area of the Gulf of Mexico.
Elemental Energies to further support U.S. Gulf of Mexico decommissioning project
Elemental Energies has landed a master services contract that will see the decommissioning of nine orphaned wells offshore in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico from Promethean Energy. This will allow them to expand their work there, since providing well management services in February.
Two projects launched as part of major US airport transformation project
Norfolk International Airport has commenced work on two projects. W.M. Jordan Co. will construct a three-gate expansion to the existing Course A, as well as a custom screening facility for international flights. These are both part of a $920 million multi-year renovation project.
Innovate UK awards funding to floating wind steel project
The Launchpad project has received almost £1 million in innovation funding. It will involve using low CO2 steel to build platforms for floating offshore wind structures and boost local supply chains. The project will aim to keep the cost of materials and deployment to a minimum.

Bobby Frankino recently joined the WRS team as Business Development Manager in our US Energies division. He’ll be focusing on driving work in the oil and gas sector, collaborating closely with our Global Business Development Manager, Chris Morton-Collings . Bobby brings with him significant expertise in client acquisition, account management, and team leadership, as well as a deep understanding of the industry. We’re happy to have him on board!

Well done to Luke Slick who’s been named Employee of the Month after only six weeks at WRS!
