?NAMES FOR MALES AND FEMALES
CHOOSING A KEMETIC NAME FOR YOUR CHILD
Choosing a Kemetic name for a baby is a serious responsibility as it charts a course for the body and soul of the individual and may well determine his or her health condition in the future. The ancient Kemetic names take us back to our lost culture, spiritual beginnings, and overall original self. The names are evident on the hieroglyphics of ancient Kemet. The hieroglyphics are drawings or carvings on the wall to convey a message of our-story. With the knowledge of the names, we can trace our origin from matter even back to spirit.
The names of the Kings (Negus) and Princes (Li'uli) of ancient Ethiopia-Kemet consist of five parts in hieroglyphics. The five parts are Heru, Nebty, Golden Heru, Prenomen, and Nomen name. The Heru name is the Heru title in column format, it represents the palace. The Nebty name says that the King is protected by two Netjeret (Nekhbet the vulture Netjert of Upper Nubia and Wadjyt the cobra Netjer of Lower Kemet). The Golden Heru name says about the personality or divine nature of the King or Prince. The Prenomen is the throne name of the King. The throne name tells where he rule extends. For example, the King may rule all of Upper Nubia and Lower Kemet. Lastly, the Nomen name is the birth name such as Khufu or Ra-meses.
SIMPLE NAMES, DUADS, AND TRIAD NAMES
The simple names consist of nouns and adjectives. For example, Neferet means beautiful woman. To express the female principle in names, the ET or IT identifier is added on the middle or end of the name. For example, Neferet is a female name which means beautiful woman. Nefer means beautiful. Adding the ET at the end, we get Neferet, so the name means beautiful woman. Another example, the Pa-sheri is a male name. The female version is Pa-sherit. Most of the time the Kemetic name can be applied for female or male.
Many Kemetic names included the qualities, attributes, principles, and functions of The One True Creator of the heavens and the earth. Contrary to what most Egyptologists have you believe, The Ancient people of Kemet / Kush/Nubia knew One God who was self-produced, self-existent, all knowing, immortal, invisible, eternal and almighty. Like Judaism and Islam the God of Kemet (Neb-Er-Tjer) had many attributes, or titles. These attributes or “Netjeru” were falsely called gods and goddesses by western scholars, in many cases as an attempt to discredit the Kemetic spiritual system in favor of Christianity, not realizing that the Kemetic system of worship is the origin of all three major religions. (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam)
DUADS = THE ALL WHO ARE THE ONE
A few of the attributes or names are Ah, Amen, Aten, Re (Ra), and Tehuti. (For example, Ra-hotep, Thutmose, Ahmose, and Ra-messes include God in the name. Hotep means peace. Thus, the Ra-hotep means peace of God. Mos or Mes means child. Thus, the name Thutmose, Ahmose, and Ra-messes mean child of God. The nickname represents the short version or description of the name. For example, Maat means order, balance, peace, justice, and stability, Ankh means life, Nefer means beautiful, Mut (Moot) means mother, Tut means image, and Heb means feast.
In the ancient times it was known that good names were vital to living a good life. In our original culture we knew that before babies were born, the parents had to find a good name for the child. This was the gift from the parents to the child, to give the child a good spiritually connected name, or a name that showed good character. In ancient Kemet names didn’t have to be explained, because they had unity as one land, one culture, one people and ONE GOD, with many attributes (Netjeru) who had many duties and functions.
TRIADS = THE ALL WHO ARE ONE
In ancient Kemet we also put names together to make triad names: example TUT – ANKH – AMUN, and as time went on, other cultures borrowed this concept, such as: IS – RA – EL (ISIS+RA+EL), GEB – RA- EL (GABRIEL), RA-FA-EL (RAPHAEL) and so on. The triad names came from the original trinity concept that started in ancient Kemet.
THE CHRISTIAN CONCEPT
FATHER + SON + HOLY SPIRIT
THE KEMETIC CONCEPT
HERU-HORUS AUSAR-OSIRIS ASET-ISIS
IN ANCIENT KEMET THE CONCEPT WAS FIRST A SQUARE IN NATURE (NETJERU), AND IT LOOKED LIKE THIS: TA MU NEFU SET AND HU IS ABOVE:
THE FOUR ELEMENTS PLUS HU THE BREATH OF LIFE = TA-EARTH, MU-WATER, NEFU-AIR, AND SET-FIRE = HU-TAMUNEFUSET
“THE BASE OF THE PYRAMID IS A SQUARE” YOU ARE LOOKING DOWN FROM ABOVE
AUSAR + AUSET + HERU + KHONSU - THE FATHER, THE MOTHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT =A QUADITY
The Divine Father and Divine Mother principles were present in the Kemetic concept. It was also originally in Christianity until the church decided to take Mary out, but forever making her a virgin. A concept that came from ancient Kemet.
“MERI-ASET OR “MERI – ISIS” OF ANCIENT KEMET, THE ORIGINAL MARY." (Meri means Beloved)
THE ISLAMIC CONCEPT
ALLAH + (THE ATTRIBUTES) AL-RAHMAAN + AL-RAHIM
BISMILLAH, AR-RAHMAAN, AR-RAHIM - "In the name of Allah the most gracious, the most merciful"
“This triad is never separated”
Nabi (SAW) is reported to have said, “Certainly Allah is odd and loves that which is odd.” In Arabic, the first (odd) plural number is number three. If a person counts from number one, the very first number which denotes multitude is the number three, which is odd. It is for this reason, that in certain aspects of Shari'ah, when a large amount is intended, then it must be done in the least odd number which denotes multitude, and that is number three.
