EXCEPTIONAL

YOLO so make it EXCEPTIONAL.

Whatever your most important CONTRIBUTION why not put in EXCEPTIONAL effort and get an EXCEPTIONAL response?  (A year ago I wrote that GREAT isn’t good enough)

Today starts the Guidelines International Network annual conference in Philadelphia. A global network for leaders developing health care guidelines they are EXCEPTIONAL in their potential impact for health care decision-making and EXCEPTIONAL in their pursuit of how to do this effort with careful attention to what matters to the people most affected, attention to critical understanding of the evidence, and attention to processes for decision-making that avoid conflicts of interest.  There is much accomplished and much still to be figured out, but I look forward to an EXCEPTIONAL week with many OPPORTUNITIES to support optimal health care decision-making in EXCEPTIONAL ways.
