Here is the story :
One of my past clients referred me to his close friend to help him to buy Investment property for now with the intention to develop in the future. I have shown him few properties, but the property market was so hot at the time in oct-nov that we couldn’t able to buy them a good property.
Suddenly the buyer finds one property that was listed by another agency, so I told him to buy that property from the listing agent and don’t wait to make decisions and also guided him about the potential in that property. So he bought it from him. But he couldn’t get any help from that selling agent about what to do after buying the property, what to look for in a pre-settlement inspection, what kind of rent he will get but instead they just handed over keys to him on the day of settlement.
But I never stopped helping him, arranged a tradesman to do some property work inside the property, arranged a property management team to look after him. Finally, the reward comes which I never ever expected as my only intention was to help & make him better decisions and make him stress-free from buying the property since his businesses in CBD, and it is very hard for him to come to south Auckland.
Moral of the story: Don’t look for money, look for the solution to help your client's real estate needs.
