An Excellent Team Makes Limitless Opportunities
Let's put things in perspective: I can do things on my own, I can face challenges alone, I can come up with ideas alone, I can meet new people and prospective clients alone. There are a lot of things that I can do on my own, without the help of anyone else. In fact, I have been in the Digital Marketing industry for years, and I have been working as a solo provider. I have worked with different companies from different industries and different countries.
But the struggle is this: My skills are limited, as well as my time. My ideas, though they may be filled to the brim, can get monotonous. I get bad days, too, when all I want to do is just lie in bed and think of my life choices. I get days where I don't want to work. After all, I only have myself to be responsible of, or to blame if things go bad.
When you're only living for yourself, sometimes you would start to question whether you are working to pursue your passion or you are working just to to live.

You would start to contemplate on your purpose and the purpose of the things that you are doing. You would start to search for meaning, or in some cases, you would start to feel that everything is meaningless.
The moment I decided to create a team and grow within it, I was awestruck by the skills and the potential that each individual held. The team I created instantly turned me into a leader, a nurturer, an educator, and a lot more. I have been transformed into something else as I slipped into these roles. I created a team not because I needed help with the things that I can do on my own, not because I wanted other people to do my job for me. I created a team because I knew that I am ready and capable to extend my growth into another level. I can impart my skills and my learning to each member and nurture them into growth and success as well.
When you are inside a team, you have a common goal and a shared purpose. Each individual works towards the teams vision and goals. As we work towards our goals, each of us are consistently improving within ourselves thus the improvement of the team as a unit. Working with my team has doubled the pleasure and gave half the pain. It is not just about having people to work for, or with me. I have found fulfillment because I have found my people. Those whose gears work in the same rhythm as mine. I have found people that I know I can trust with my life and with critical information, knowing in comfort that they will not deliberately do anything to deviate from our shared vision. These are just a few of the many wonders of being a part of the team, but what's most wonderful about this unit is that it generates opportunities and possibilities without limit.

Everyone has something to contribute, my ideas that once was monotonous had flourished with variety. When I discovered that my team had a lot of creative juices in them, I felt so excited about the future, knowing that we can take on fun and creative projects. One of the things that creative people holds is their ability to take problems in different approaches. We do not simply give up when the going gets tough, we try to look at trials from different angles and perspectives, knowing that we can overcome anything with the right approach. A team will teach you the beauty of being able to grow together and seize moments and opportunities together. Each member sees an opportunity not only for himself but for the entire team as well.
I can say that I was good at what I do before, but now that I am in a team, I became better because being inside a team enables you to focus on your forte and enhance your skills. My team and I can take on any projects and any job as long as we are motivated and as long as we are equipped the proper skills. Each individual has a responsibility to the team, and the team has a responsibility to each individual. We each gain benefit but to gain we have to give. The beauty of it all is the more that we give and invest, the more we receive. Each of our efforts go in a circle of reciprocity.
