The Black Dog -Take A Pause, meet at the Hyatt on Saturday was a very well organised event. The performer comedian, Sundeep Rao is blind. He was hilarious and had the audience in splits. "A visiting NRI Bangalore asked his Indian friend in Bangalore,...Hey, back in California we have Bungee Jumping, Rock climbing and other exciting weekend activities. Do you have any such adventure sports in Bengaluru ? To which his friend replied, yes ofcourse, "Try Crossing the Road !!" The audience roared in laughter.

While enjoying the evening, my wife, Sushma and I noticed the very professional way in which Diegeo Spirits handled the event. The brand manager of Black Dog explained about scotch whisky and in particular about his blends in an informal, interactive session and got everyone to participate and relax. This set the stage for the comedy show. Every little detail was handled well with minimum wastage of time. It was a small gathering 60 to 70 people, but the event was executed to perfection.

Strategies and plans can become good or bad depending on the quality of their Execution and this is where successful companies score over their competitors. In a fast changing environment, companies must focus on attaining a sustained " Vision - Action " connect.
