Guideline #15: Keep Formulas Short

“The most valuable of all talents is that of never using two words when one will do”, Thomas Jefferson, 19th century president of the United States, remarked. Whenever possible, keep your Excel formulas short and simple. Long formulas are harder to read, harder to understand, difficult to check and tough to improve. Well written. The use of alt enter also comes with a caution: a quick look at the formula will make believe there is nothing more to it. That's why I prefer using some extra spaces to enhance overview
