Excavating...

Excavating the Square, my series is entering year three. It amazes me how the act of creating a square continues to fascinate and drive me. It is only one part of my art practice...but a vital part that keeps the sound performances, music compositions and digital work in check. These paintings are created with my hands, and this remains important as my ideas shift and explore. The uniqueness of what happens with your hands, the physicality, will always be the ultimate achievement.
