The EWTS Weekly, w/c Feb 6th 2023

If you’re about to close a conversation - be it in a meeting, a talk or over a message - be very cautious when using the words: ‘Just one more thing.’

Why??

Because more often than not, it isn't?just one more thing.?Sometimes you actually have two points, or three points, or more to make. If you're a repeat offender, this can make you seem unreliable or disorganized. And nobody wants that from their leader!

So when you say: ‘Just one more thing’, make sure it actually is just one.?

Read this book with my business development team. We loved it and had weekly meetings discussing which phrases we liked best and how we could implement/practice them. Good stuff!
