New Project Begins in Assam, India

We are excited to announce a new 3-year project in Assam, India, supported by De Eik Foundation. This project will take a multipronged approach, using both in-person and digital training to reach a wide range of smallholder farmers, particularly women and youth. Read the full story here.

A Unique Partnership in Western Uganda

Increased participation by women is widely accepted as one of the keys to more sustainable farming in Africa. Our partnership with AVSI Foundation is bringing farming best practices to women in Kyaka II refugee settlement and host communities in Uganda. Read the full story here.

Simple Innovations Bring Big Results in Ghana

A Return to Farming in Cambodia

After 12 years abroad as a migrant construction worker, Taing Han is right where he wants to be—at home in Cambodia with his family, on his thriving farm. Having found success with yard long beans and cucumbers, he is looking to expand to other vegetables. Read the full story here.

Reaching Indigenous Youth in Indonesia

EWS-KT partner Yayasan Bina Tani Sejahtera has been providing guidance on sustainable vegetable cultivation in Papua, Indonesia, since 2016. A pivotal moment in this journey was connecting with Marthen Luther, a young Indigenous farmer in Jayapura Regency. Read the full story here.
