EWM-TM Integration Part1

Hi All.

In this article below scenarios are explained in detailed fashion how EWM-TM Direct Integration works & supported in S4HANA 1909.

EWM-TM Integration exist in 3 different scenarios:

1) Direct Integration between EWM-TM( Part of Shipping & Receiving )

2) Transit Warehousing

3) Warehouse Billing.

Part 1:Direct Integration between EWM-TM for Outbound Scenario.

Step 1: Create Sales Order.

Step 2: System Creates Freight Units With Package Building Algorithm.Check the Freight Units Created

Step 3: Plan the Freight Units in TM With Optimizer Planning.

In the above screen shot the Normal Quantity is determined as 1 PAL.Normalized Quantity Plays important role in package building. you can maintain the normalized quantity in the below areas.

1.Package Building Profile

2.Freight Unit type

3.Transportation Unit Type

4.Freight Order type

Step 4: System Creates the freight order & carrier selected automatically(1STEP).

Step 5: Load Planning

Step 6: Select all the Packages & click on Create Load Plan.

Note: Load Planning having different options in Optimizer where we can maintain load planning rules.here i am doing simple load planning.

Step 7: Now Create Delivery Proposal.

Step 8: Send Loading Instructions to EWM.

Step 9: Check the Delivery & TU Created in EWM.

Step 10: Check the Planned Ship Handling Units Created from TM.

?Step 11:Verify Pick Hus Created & Complete the Picking ( With Short Picking 1 Particular Item )

Step 11: Activate the TU & Check the Update back to TM.

Step 12: Start Loading & Finish Loading , Check Updates in TM.

Step 13: Complete the Check Out & Look for the Updates in TM.

Step 13: Check Pallet ID's.

Step 14: Check the Planned VS Actual Quantities.
