Evyrgreen Networking - LinkedIn Foundations Course

Most people start courses and never finish them. 

Why? Because the information they learn is just not practical. 

It's super overwhelming. It takes forever to take the course. 

No wonder why most people who buy an online course and then don't take action start believing that all online courses are a waste of time and money. 

I remember feeling like that back in the day when I spent money on Lynda.com but never made the time to use it. 

The words that came out of my mouth were: “I do not have time to take these courses but I want to!”

Does not matter what you WANT to do, what really matters is what you actually DO. 

Taking a course means making a financial investment. But even MORE important than the money you invest is: ARE YOU GOING TO IMPLEMENT what you learned?

There are two elements that make the right course worth taking:

1. Short bite-size videos that you can digest over time, each with a framework, checklist or cheatsheet.

2. It's something practical that you can put into practice right away, each day.

  1. How to use LinkedIn for networking purposes to get more referrals and gain more influence without investing in advertising and by only spending 15 minutes a day. 
  2. The best way to optimize your profile based on a foolproof marketing strategy that includes your goals, target market, and your most ideal messaging. 
  3. What stories you need to be telling to get more people to be interested in you. We have a great framework that guides you through the process of discovering your stories. 
  4. Our three dashboards that you use to create a content calendar, asset library, and to track all your connections. We also show you how to track your activity. 
  5. The exact steps that you need to be taking to get more visibility, more credibility, and how to reach out to people that want to speak to you and send you business. 

If you are prepared to spend at least 15 minutes a day on LinkedIn in a proactive way that will get you more business and more influence, this course can help you do that.

Let's break down each part of the course so you get really clear on what the opportunity is. 

Step 1: Brandin’ - What is your LinkedIn Marketing Strategy?

Most people have NO STRATEGY! They are doing random acts of marketing and random acts of networking. Hope is a great thing, but it's not a great strategy. What I want for you is to have a solid strategy that is simple to read and understand. 

You must brand yourself with the right plan, people, and promise. 

We teach you how to set goals for your business, your marketing, and your LinkedIn activity. You put this into your LinkedIn Playbook Framework. We call this the Plan section!

Then we teach you how to find the right target market with the Persona Discovery Framework. This is essential for coaches, consultants, and entrepreneurs that want to find the right types of clients and get more referrals. We call this section People. 

Finally, you need to have the right messaging that speaks to your most ideal target. This messaging will get people motivated to want to do business with you because it taps into your VALUE PROPOSITION in the Perfect Pitch Framework. We call this the Promise section. 

Once you have the Plan, the People and the Promise and you filled out those three simple frameworks you now have a foundation to get into the second section of the course called Buildin’

Step 2: Build an Asset Library, Content Calendar and Optimized LinkedIn Profile

Those people that do not post on LinkedIn consistently and do not have visibility is usually because they lack a library of assets. It's hard to create a library if you do not have lots of stories and ideas at your fingertips. 

We believe that features tell but stories sell. You want to captivate your prospects with the right stories. That is why we begin the buildin’ section with your stories. 

In the Story module, we teach you how to tell your story, we help you discover all the stories in your life and we give you the Story Finder Framework. We provide you with plenty of examples and even give you an exercise called Your Life Story that helps you get all the stories that are sharable on social media. 

Now that you have all your stories in place, it's time to create your Optimized LinkedIn Profile. 

We walk you through our All Star Profile Checklist and teach you how to optimize your Identity, Summary and History for your profile. 

With an optimized profile in place you are now ready to build your asset library, content calendar and connections dashboard. We provide you with three dashboards that you can use to increase your likelihood of success and consistency with LinkedIn. 

Once you have your strategy and have built out your assets it's time to take action and start BOOMIN in just 15 minutes a day.

Step 3: Post, Engage and Message in just 15 minutes a day. Boomin’

Taking action daily is the key to getting results long term. You just need 15 minutes a day! 

The three simple actions that we encourage each of our students to take in just 15 minutes of proactive time each day is to Post, Engage and to Message. 

Let’s break down what we teach. 

When it comes to posting, there are 6 types of posts and we breakdown each type of post so that you have a variety of posts that will get the visibility you are looking for. 

We also teach you how to create evergreen articles that will be on your profile and give you exposure for a long time. 

Posting Media which includes video, images and audio is also key and we show you exactly how to do that. 

Now that you understand how to properly post on LinkedIn, we move to engaging which builds credibility on LinkedIn. 

If you want people to trust you, you need to LIKE, Comment and engage properly on LinkedIn. 

The majority of LinkedIn users are Lurkers, that means they do not engage. But they are watching you! 

When you start to engage on a regular basis you get more credibility and people see you as a leader they can rely on. 

Even if you only spend 3 to 5 minutes engaging but you do it strategically you will see results from your work. 

Now that you know how to Post and Engage properly the next step is to get people on the phone. The best way to do that is using the Direct Message feature on LinkedIn known as inmail or LinkedIn Messaging. 

When it comes to LinkedIn messaging, we have a three step process we teach called Greeting Feeding and Meeting. When you do this correctly you get people on the phone and build real relationships with your Linkedin connections.
