Lilium, the developer of the first all-electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) jet, has partnered with aviation training company FlightSafety International (FSI) to create immersive flight simulators and training programs for the Lilium Jet. The agreement makes FSI the exclusive developer and provider for flight training devices, including an early flight simulator to assist in testing, certification, and pilot familiarization. Unsafe drone activities endangering Canadian firefighting operations

Transport Canada is closely monitoring the wildfires in British Columbia, Alberta, and the Prairies, and has issued a safety warning against the illegal and dangerous use of drones near firefighting operations. The department emphasizes that flying a drone within 9.3 km of wildfires is not only illegal but can impede firefighting efforts, potentially leading to the grounding of firefighting aircraft, suspension of operations, and increased risk to lives and communities. Transport Canada is urging the public to report any unsafe or illegal drone activity and advises all travellers to exercise caution around fires, follow local law enforcement directions, and obey any navigation restrictions:
