We've only seen the beginning of addressing the tradeoffs organizations need to make when addressing PFAS. On one hand, PFAS can prevent infections and contamination. On the other, the continuous use of PFAS containing materials may not be worth all of the risks involved. Nothing is cut and dry and this article brings to light the need to address complexities in organizations and complex supply chains.
