Evolve Health & Lifestyle What’s New
I was recently interviewed by?The Success Magazine?and was asked my secrets to crushing burnout. Of my 3 secrets,?setting boundaries?is the one I see so many clients neglecting.
Boundaries communicate to others what’s important to?YOU?and empower
YOU?to take back control of your time. The first step to setting effective boundaries is to decide who you are going to BE, and that involves identifying your non-negotiables. What’s really important to you??
Once you have that figured out, you can decide what actions you will take to stay aligned with the boundaries you’ve identified.
I participated in an expert panel discussion on how to turn your business relationships into a?consistent?and?predictable source of new business. The best source for new business comes from business relationships.
But they are worthless, unless you know how to properly:
1. Build them
2. Nurture them
3. Leverage them into a rich source of endless referrals

Evolve Health & Lifestyle Thought / Insight
Welcome to summer!
The past 2 years have led many of us to relook at how we are living our lives and start to seek out ways to live the life we?ACTUALLY?want.
After talking with many of you in person and on social media, the one topic I see come up again and again is stress. How do I manage stress?
We are all stressed about so many things…

Ever thought about how Summer might help you manage your stress??
One way that you can accomplish this is grounding (also known as earthing). By simply walking around barefoot in the grass, on rocks, or through a stream, you can reduce your stress. Remember when you were younger and it came so naturally to kick your shoes off and play in the dirt? Many of my clients can hardly remember the last time they did this before working with me because it is not part of our daily lifestyle.?
As you will see in the attached Instagram post from Tim Biohacker, grounding is the one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory available to us.?
Grounding actually:?

As we head into Summer and the warmer weather, take a moment to hug a tree, sit in the park, walk barefoot through the grass while walking your dog, or go on an adventure to someplace new and experience the outdoors fully.
There is no magic pill to get rid of the stress in your life and sometimes you have to wade through some of it, but we can create a life that is conducive to less stress and gives us the health and wellness that we desire.
I would love to hear how you are grounding / earthing and the benefits you are seeing! Just hit reply and let me know!

When many of us think about productivity, we think about how much of my to-do list can I get crossed off and how much can I get done in a short amount of time; which also usually means added stress.
Click the link below to learn 10 habits that can give you the boost in productivity you are looking for and give you structures to keep your stress at bay.
One of my favorites is:
Take a break to go outside
“I find that stepping out of the workspace into nature allows me to regroup and stay productive. I will do this when I have meeting breaks, at lunch, or in the afternoons when I can spare moments. Being on a computer all day or in meetings forces us to centralize our attention to such a large degree that it can be draining and physically exhausting. We are constantly tapping our attention not realizing that this is also a limited resource at some point. Going for a walk, looking at the greenery and flowers, listening to the birds, and feeling the breeze allows me to take in nature without any effort whatsoever. Nature allows me to immerse myself in that experience without even trying and enables me to re-energize. I call it my restorative power bank.”

Evolve Health & Lifestyle Surprise
I just returned from the most spectacular trip I’ve ever taken —- Africa! Specifically, Botswana, Tanzania and Cape Town.?
My biggest surprise of the trip – THE PEOPLE. While I was expecting the animals, safari accommodations and food to be spectacular, I did not anticipate falling in love with the locals. Their pride in their country, community and job as well as their overall love of life was so inspiring! I think we as U.S. Americans can learn lots from them. I know I did!
Please enjoy a few special moments from my trip.?
Until next time, stay healthy!
