ETRUX and WEVC’s Collaborative Project to Be Revealed
We recently announced our collaboration with electric vehicle pioneers, WATT Electric Vehicle Company Company (WEVC). For the past few months, we have been working closely with the WEVC on an exciting new project which will revolutionise the adoption of electric vehicles by fleet managers across the UK and Europe.?
Ronan Hamill, CEO of The JANS Group , said “This is a turning point for commercial vehicles. This MOU signifies a business partnership which has the potential to change the electric light vehicle commercial market.”

ETRUX Calls For Action During Decarbonising Transport Week
Managing Director of ETRUX, Gerard Galvin, urges Government bodies to work together with the industry in order to reach the targets set by the Climate Change Committee (CCC).??This follows their most recent report which states essential new policy requirements that are needed to meet the 2030 and 2040 interim targets.
Gerard goes on to say: “Public sector organisations and agencies must fully engage with the private sector if we are to push forward with legislated net-zero targets. Time is of the essence, and we must be ambitious in our plans and policies. The challenge to reach our net-zero target is significant but working together we have a much better chance of meeting these ambitious goals.”
One of the requirements mentioned in the ‘Balanced Pathway’ document was that all new car and van sales be zero-emissions within ten years.
Gerard Galvin responded: “The next few years are vital in making the leap to zero- emission vehicles”.?
Gerard Galvin’s statement coincided with the UK’s Decarbonising Transport week, which seen experts, policy makers, industry leaders and politicians come together to discuss solutions in the transition to a low carbon transport network.?
