Observation:
This?#visualization?indicated the stringency index comparison over Covid?#KPI?metrics globally, defines an opportunity to reduce/contain the no of new cases or other KPI metrics.
Stringency Index is a composite measure based on nine response indicators including school closures, workplace closures, and travel bans, rescaled to a value from 0 to 100 (100 = strictest). If policies vary at the subnational level, the index is shown as the response level of the strictest sub-region.
Case Study:
comparing the new_cases over united states and?#unitedkindom?,?#unitedstates?has 7-day new cases average of 245k versus United Kingdom as 59K but when comparing the stringency index between these two countries UK has high index indicates that UK implemented strict policies over those nine response indicators. USA on other hand has stringency index as 72.2 as 7-day average less than UK. I see an opportunity for USA possible decrease or control the increase in new cases by increasing these indices by imposing nine strict policies.
