It's truly remarkable, and I'm grateful for each and every one of you who has joined us on this journey.

In times of uncertainty, I believe it's essential to create a space for deeper reflection, sharing, and growth.?

??Taking off the mask

As a coach, I have the privilege of gaining insights into how people are truly feeling, beyond the surface level.?

I often refer to it as "taking off the mask" – a process where we peel back the layers of the external front that we often put on to reveal our authentic selves and share what's really going on beneath the surface.

People often feel worried at first to share with me in case I judge them; however, in a single day, I can go from a leader in tears because they do not feel good enough to someone celebrating a new business contract!?

I have seen lots of things over the years, and let me tell you, the range of emotions and experiences is vast.?

However, no matter what the situation, there's also a sense of resilience and courage.?

I've witnessed individuals stepping outside of their comfort zones, embracing fearlessness, and making bold moves that they never thought possible.?

It's inspiring to see people rising to the occasion, seizing opportunities, and creating new paths forward despite the uncertainties that surround us.

??Bright Ideas?

A few weeks ago, I went to the Bright Ideas competition at Kingston University and saw the resilience and determination of the students.?

They were pitching their business ideas to judges, and I had the honour of being one of the judges this year.?

Congratulations to all the participants! ??

Traditionally, universities promoted the concept of leaving university to go and get a job; however, they are realising now that in today's society, it is important to learn entrepreneurial skills too.?

Kingston University is a pioneer in this and has been running its entrepreneurial activities for over a decade.?

I graduated from their enterprise scheme in 2011, and it was where I first realised the power of entrepreneurship. It is great to see that they are still leading in this area with their Future Skills Programme.

?? BEing BOLD?

You can have the best ideas in the world, the most qualifications, and years of experience; however, if you do not have the confidence to be bold enough to share it, then you can easily be invisible in your industry.?

We are living in a world where it is becoming essential to own your gifts and stand out so that you can elevate your career.?

BEing BOLD is a state of being that is becoming increasingly important nowadays, whether you are in a job or running a business.

Here are 3 tips to be more BOLD in your career:

1. Step outside your comfort zone regularly

1. Take calculated risks

1. Own your achievements and advocacy

By confidently owning your value and advocating for your needs, you'll position yourself as a bold and capable leader in your career.?

This could be for example updating your LinkedIn profile, going live online, or starting a podcast.?

Don’t be afraid to ask someone for help or Google or Chat GPT! ??
