Evolution

One of the best gifts of photography is repeat business. This is great not just because a happy client is a returning client. But the value goes so much deeper than that. It is with those you build long term relationships, that you are able to truly see evolution.

Dayna was one of my first clients in the Houston area. She originally contacted me to update her online profile photo. She was an incredibly powerful woman seeking her next opportunity, and next professional adventure. I was new to the Houston scene, finding my legs on the markets wants and needs. We shared our histories, found connections, and found a shared entrepreneurial passion.

The true gift came though from the lasting connection that photography session forged. I have photographed her family members, I have watched her entrepreneurial spirit and drive find a home with the founding of her own business. Watch her mien blossom into a sense of power and purpose. She has evolved.

As a photographer, so have I. After attending the launch of The Adewuya Group we realized, it was time to update her headshots once more. To better reflect the powerful business owner she now was, the focus and drive for success.

Dayna, since our very first meeting, has struck me as a driven person. It is one of the many reasons we continue to work together, and strive to find opportunities to collaborate, her passion is infectious.

As I reviewed our footage from her most recent session, I continued to hear the word: Evolution. That is what I saw. That was a woman secure in her power and purpose. An image I was proud to capture. An image that reminded me that like my clients I too continue to evolve and grow.
