Evolution of Next Generation Analytics- Traditional BI meets AI

As per Gartner prediction data will be fuel for a lot of development and growth coming up in digital industry. We are feeling the presence of two islands where we are building bridges and trying to make an intersection between these two.

Cloud emerging technologies are making this journey more instant and firm. The way how open source platforms have made their availability at different cloud provider's canvas, has really made easy for us to play with data in real-time and and play complex algorithms for ML and AI.

In similar way Databricks is helping analytics' and BI to travel more forward. The Lakehouse architecture is really a game changer in basic analytics pursuit and going to impress a lot customers. The maturity curve depicts how the intersection of these two islands is giving a value.

This maturity curve gives an overall result of data journey from one island to another. The three red dots represents a warehouse for BI whereas the blue dots represents the AI and Advanced Analytics. The blow graphical bifurcation of the maturity curve will give you a more cleaner picture of the two islands I am referring to.

Lakehouse is going to be an explosive platform in upcoming time, which serves each and every need of a data analysts, reporting heads and data scientists. It will provide a single source of truth with data governance and maintaining the terabytes of raw data which can be used at any moment of time to train AI models , designing real-time predictions solutions and deep dive historical data to get the nuisance/cause which degraded performance.
