What came first “The particle or “The Guy” into existence??
The vast and empty space we see across the sky makes us wonder, what is beyond that sky or, what is beyond those stars, or what in the name of “The Guy” (more on him in the introduction section) is Universe. I wondered the same for a long time and then, as a believer of science I did what any scientist would do, I researched. I researched about our astonishing and non intuitive observable/ known Universe (I say "our" because we have prematurely laid claim to the vast abyss called space, all this because of our inability to find life forms beyond our planet, which by the way is still a contemptuous claim). In my humble opinion, the content of my article may offend a few or more than a few believers of blind society which presumptuously believes the functioning of our universe is single handily operated by a supreme entity. “The Guy” beliefs is still compared to the God Particle, oh wait, is The Guy the particle or is God Particle, The Guy (we'll find out more as you read along). Well the theory of God Particle and existence of “The Guy” is still a mystery for both Science and Religion. I have/had been (still in transition) an ardent follower of religion and the belief that there is a Supreme Entity who controls my destiny, but this was because I was fed with this information day in and day out. I was never forced to accept it but during the process of my evolution, an exploratory one, my belief system in the blind faith made me question about some hence not proved facts about the “The Guy’s” principles or rather Dogmas of incredulous bigots. With no proof of existence of “The Guy”, I got a bit more inclined towards science and empirical evidences behind the theories and laws that promulgated revolutionary ideas of "our" inception, rather than blindly believing in the miracles of “The Guy”. In no way this article should be construed as a medium to preach or believe atheism, but rather be used to enlighten the mind of my fellow homosapiens about the world of science and the nature of the universe. I have now tasted the forbidden fruit of knowledge; my lust is now beyond dubious and unproved theories of faith to the library of science. I am using my Grey cells to figure out our existence, the meaning of space time and concluding with my own hypothesis of how the future human civilization will evolve or transform. I am reiterating the fact that my idea of questioning few beliefs is not to hurt anyone’s feeling, but to show that some unanswered questions of the faith have been answered by empirical proven theories and laws. I, now through my journey of exploration believe that we are not here because of some grand plan by the supreme architect but rather by Serendipity of photons, atoms and bosons.
Evolution of humanity
Even though we (homo sapiens) are still young on the face of this universe, but within that early age we have achieved what no other living being has ever done in the known universe. The history of universe dates way back to 13.7 billion years and we came to exists just mere 2.5 million years back and have figured a lot of data that can be known to humanity. While we evolved from a Cyanobacteria to a fish to land animal to a quasi thinkable ape and finally to a living being with a mind to think, to apply logic, to reason and question, to form its own personal belief, and to figure out the existence of this known universe and in some case multiverse. In nutshell, I would like to give the reference of Lawrence Krauss’s book for my opinions and feelings about our evolution - we have achieved a lot while evolving from NOTHING to SOMETHING. During this course of time the best discovery for human beings was TECHNOLOGY, and that changed everything for humanity in both positive and in a negative way (We can discuss the same in next chapter).
We have been applying our brain from 3500 BC with the invention of wheel to incessantly evolving to modern generation humans capable of building highly convoluted codes and algorithms of Sophia (Sophia is a realistic humanoid robot capable of displaying human like expressions and interacting with people. It's designed for research, education, and entertainment, and helps promote public discussion about AI ethics and the future of robotics).

Famous French philosopher Rene Descartes posited that it is necessary to doubt the facts and premises with logical inductive and deductive reasoning to reach the conclusion. Science provides us the power to imagine things, question them, provide answers to our reasoning with empirical scientific evidence, and then preaching it to the others. On the other hand, we have powerful religious Dogma with obscure faith and bigotry. The blind faith preaches us that everything is done by SOMETHING or SOMEONE in the universe and we have to obey to (him/her/it) or whatever alternate gender pronoun that could be considered to address the entity, and if we refute the faith of existence of SOMETHING, then that infinitely powerful being (called by various names) present in the vast unknown universe will not listen to your plead, your hopes and your wishes. To make the matter worse if you don’t believe in it, and challenge his rules and theories, which were only narrated to privileged mortals, then you will be send to a special place in this known universe called “HELL”, where you will be punished, tortured and will be burned for eternity because“The Guy” loves you.
“The GUY”- A superhuman being or spirit worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes. That’s the Wikipedia definition of “The Guy”, but for me it’s as simple as one word- Alien. Yes, an alien is someone or something that is not from the planet earth, and as per the extensive known information humanity has, we have never witnessed an alien on earth (keeping the Area 51 aside), the hoax sightings of UFO’s is still a myth, and Fermi paradox is still a topic of debate.
The rapacious hunger for the knowledge of immortality has been the uttermost desire of the human beings. As per the stories or myths of our ancient civilizations like in Greek there was “The sky and thunder Guy”, in Egyptian it was “The Sun Guy”, for Indus valley they have “the creator”,“the protector”, and “the destroyer” of the earth realm, and for DC comics we have our one of the finest guy – Vandal Savage (Finally using a name).
The reason I mentioned this DC character is for a fact that he had achieved immortality, he was considered to be present even before the humanity. With immortality comes the great power of knowledge. The infinite knowledge of centuries, making you the answer of every phenomenon that has ever happened on the face of earth. So what all the above guys have in common is the power of immortality and thus making them superior than mortals and in turn deriving their powers from the prayers and the fear of mere mortals. While immortality is still a dream for many scientists but with the speed or(let me upgrade to a vector quantity) with the velocity at which the technical advancement is in progress and the hard work of scientists in creating Sophia and other artificially intelligent robots, I must say that if we focus more on scientific developments and believe in the premises published by various scientists, we can reach Type-1 civilization in next 100 years (please read about Karadeshev Scale, it will enlighten your mind with concept that is beyond human imagination).
What made me more and more intrigued towards science was it’s never to say die attitude. It has fought a lot of battles in the past but has proven its worth always. The idea of science has always been condemned by the “BELIEVERS” and their polemic arguments regarding the flat earth or earth being the center of the universe got recognition. Legends like Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle were considered senile and crazy, and their profound knowledge was considered as extraneous ideas. It was the 17th century when the idea of science added mass and weight (even though scientific advancements were happening at decent pace through the eyes of Kepler, Galileo and Newton, but the epoch of “Scientific Renaissance' is considered to be 17th century). It was this era when the philosophers enlightened our stringent and stubborn faith believers about the concept of Science and Philosophy.Science started giving answers to the phenomenon we feared from, philosophers helped people in making them understand the laws of gravity, general relativity, space time and various other laws of universe. Within a century only, science and technology achieved what human civilization has been trying for millions of years. Slowly and steadily it became a part of our system. Our dependency on technology increased at a breakneck speed, which now cannot be stopped, neither can be retracted.The drug was tasted by many and the high was very satisfying and euphoric. We have to accept it that technology has penetrated our society through and through and the only logical way for human civilization to progress and reach its uttermost goal is by working together with technology, and believe in some other faith this time to see what future technology beholds for us. I would not make this article verbose by explaining the pros and cons of technology or how we are dependent on technology and people arguing that we can obviate technology from our lifestyles- NO; you cannot survive without technology because it has given us the pleasure and the comfort of living our complex life. Your day to day life will get hampered to a level, wherein you will regret this decision for your entire life.
I would like to give the YouTube series “The Age of AI” credit for my optimistic approach in the AI. The videos I watched made me think how technology is making us one step close to Civilization 1, wherein we can control the planet Earth. This means we can control the weather phenomenon, tectonic plates, tsunami and many other “Guyly” miracles that were unknown to humanity. These videos show stimulation and fusion of technology with humans. One of the episode showcased how a prosthetic limb can be attached to your nerves and the subject can perform the entire task as efficiently as a normal person or may be in coming years better than a normal human being. Well I do not want to spoil the thrill, so I would refrain myself from mentioning any more episodes. My idea to mention such series was to spread awareness amongst the masses that how quickly and swiftly technology has made its way in our lives. Technology like facial recognition, cloning, artificially intelligent limbs, and self driven cars are just the tip of the iceberg. Apart from the above mentioned advancements, the development in medical equipment’s and researches has helped the humanity to develop various drugs, medicines and vaccines, which are way more beneficial to humanity, in comparison to believing in an intangible entity to help you or provide solution for your problems.No matter how much we agree to disagree the fact that our life is dependent on machines, we have to embrace it and have to live with it. Machines have information about everything in the world. They have penetrated the deep dark secrets, fantasies, and desires of humanity. They have saved humanity by giving their support as ventilators, stents, hearing aids etc. To sum up, I would like to assume on behalf of humanity that machines have become an important part of our life and without giving a hint to humanity, machines are already trying to stimulate with us. From the current situation it is practically impossible to move back from the web of technology. We are in a spiral loop and are falling in the black hole of technology. Our future with technology beholds answers to many arcane miracles such as solving the biggest mystery of universe? The EXISTENCE of Universe. The Large Hadron collider- our only hope to reveal our existence. This experiment will bring Religion and Science at peace and will make humanity work for one common goal, which is betterment of society (now Science has an answer and “The Guy” has none). Unfortunately, we are still contemplating the conclusion of the experiment, and soon we will be educated about what happened before the great “Big Bang”.
I would like to conclude my hypothesis by stating that the rate of change at which technological advancement is accelerating, and with the creation of such complex AI like Siri, Alexa, piano robot, social humanoids like Sophia, we are not far from the day when there will be fusion of AI and humans thus creating a better evolved, self sufficient, upgraded offspring named Cyborg- half human half machine. With the power of storing thousands and thousands of gigabytes of knowledge, applying the gained knowledge to make righteous decision (and not emotional), strength to move or lift heavy objects at ease, may be with the power of charging itself when low on energy, to have the capability to destroy or create things which are humanly not possible, and to work for the betterment of our planet and save our planet from outsiders or from the wrath of universe. I must say this Cyborg is some guy or “The Guy”.

I leave my article open ended, giving my readers the freedom to apply their fair share of logic and judgment regarding the future of humanity. Yes, there is a possibility that the highly intellectual auto updated powerful supercomputers can eradicate the face of humanity from the world. Yes, the creation can destroy the creator of its creation, but what if it works symbiotically with its creator, the society will be at peace as now none of the “Guys” or humans are better or powerful. What lives ahead are millions of “live” beings, living happily without any differentiation, any taboos or stigma, maintaining uniformity and working towards one common goal of upgrading the civilization to a higher and higher level and thus not depending on any external source of power.It can only be achieved if we devote more time to understand the miracles of science and believe in humanity rather than……..
