LinkedIn is further incentivising video content by trialling a TikTok-style video feed. As with other short video-heavy platforms, the layout would allow users to rapidly flick through video posts, putting even more emphasis on content creators to capture attention immediately through their videos' thumbnails and opening seconds.

And the EU is going after Apple, Google and Meta in a huge crackdown on uncompetitive practices by the tech giants. If found guilty of breaching the Digital Markets Act, the companies can be fined 10% of their annual turnover.

The five cases brought against the trio are consumer rights issues affecting billions of users, including data privacy and the companies 'self-preferencing' their own services. The investigation is expected to take around a year to complete.
