An article by Ed Zitron titled 'The Man Who Killed Google Search' has been doing the rounds in SEO circles this month. It traces internal conflict at the internet giant between improving Google Search for users and driving ever more revenue, and seems to conclude that the former have lost the argument - and why that matters.
And ex-Open AI employees have launched a rival platform called Claude, which focuses on mobile users. "It's about integrating Claude into the fabric of our daily lives," says one of the founders.
Claude claims to be ahead of ChatGPT in sophistication in some areas and is being reported as the first genuine challenger to the AI frontrunner.

Among the key takeaways are a 14% rise in the average number of accessibility errors from 2023, and that, while usage of ARIA attributes has increased, in many cases these are being used incorrectly.
