GAS BARRIER PROPERTIES

EVOH (Ethelyne Vinyl Alcohol) resins offer outstanding gas barrier properties, which are superior to those of any other conventional polymer. Food quality generally deteriorates due to the presence of oxygen, EVOH effectively enhances flavour and quality retention by preventing oxygen from penetrating through the package.

RESISTANCE TO OIL AND ORGANIC SOLVENTS

EVOH’s resistance to oils and organic solvents is very good. EVOH is therefore suitable for packaging oily foods, edible oils, mineral oils, agricultural pesticides and organic solvents.

AROMA AND FLAVOUR PRESERVATION

EVOH based packaging is effective in retaining fragrances and preserving the aroma and flavour of the contents within the package for the desired period of time. At the same time, undesirable odours are prevented from entering the packaging.
