At the East Valley Institute of Technology, you will join classmates from over 100 high schools and adult students from all over the Phoenix area in exploring the possibilities and training for a career. 

From health care to industrial trades to creative technologies, EVIT offers over 40 different career training programs tuition-free. 

Maybe you know exactly what you want to do, and how to get there. Maybe you’ve lost your way, and need a new direction. 

At EVIT, you will discover that you have the grit to pick yourself up when you fall.

The heart to care about a greater purpose.

The drive to push yourself every day to give your best. 

Maybe you don’t want to go to college.

Or maybe you do. 

Maybe you want to work with your hands and start your career right after high school.

Or move up in the field you work in now. 

At EVIT, you will find there are many ways to achieve your dream. 

Along the way, you will become friends with students, who – like you – have chosen to be here. You will work closely with teachers who can mentor you because they actually worked in the career path you’ve chosen. 

You will be in a school where you belong. 

United by common interest, you and your EVIT family will spend half of every school day doing what you love. 

Maybe you will trouble-shoot an engine.

Or flambe a dessert.

Or design a garment. 

You might triage a patient.

Or style hair.

Or build a house. 

Maybe you will rappel from the top of a fire tower.

Or give a radio broadcast.

Or fly a plane. 

In every EVIT program, you will develop skills by doing the job. 

From labs on campus to internships and apprenticeships in local industry, you will gain real world experience. 

You will have the opportunity to earn industry certifications.

Or even college credit.
