She was so happy to be able to listen to her favourite music. Having the ear phones really helped her to be able to concentrate on her music. She hummed along to the tunes. When she finished listening she said "wasn't that lovely" I try to make sure she listen's to her music whenever I am on duty.

This lady is non verbal due to her dementia. But when listening to her music through her earphones she does actually try to sing some of the words. No sound comes out, but you can see she is mouthing the words. When she is feeling a little stressed, playing her music helps to calm her.

This lady enjoyed listening to her music. She did sing along and said it was wonderful to hear.

This lady is also non verbal due to her dementia. When I placed the earphones on her she tried to take them off, but once she heard the music she calmed down and started listening to the music. When the music finished and I went to take her earphones off this lady batted my hand away twice, so I took this to mean she would like to listen again. So I played her songs again for her. It was lovely to see her reaction to the music.

Mrs

This lady listen to her music, she said she it was enjoyable. Due to dementia finds it difficult to communicate her emotions. So saying it was enjoyable is really good.

Many thanks.
