???? Music’s biggest night takes place on Sunday, Feb. 2. The Grammy Awards air live from Los Angeles and will be hosted again by Trevor Noah this year. Leading the 2025 nominations are Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX, and Billie Eilish. And the star-studded list of performers include newcomers like Chappell Roan, Doechii and Sabrina Carpenter.
Interestingly, there’s a lot of speculation regarding who should and who will win. Rolling Stone suggests Taylor Swift will take home the top prize: Album of The Year; while Pitchfork believes Record of The Year will go to Billie Eilish. The 67th Grammys airs at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount+.

??TikTok is back in the United States. But for how long? Last week, the app was temporarily unavailable for about 12 hours in the U.S. ahead of a scheduled ban (Jan. 19). After the voluntary shutdown, TikTok was then restored for 170 million American? users. The future of the app is unknown in the U.S.?
Drake’s petition against Spotify and Universal Music Group has been withdrawn in New York state. The rapper previously accused the music entities of inflating Kendrick Lamar’s hit diss track “Not Like Us.” What’s more, UMG filed a motion to dismiss Drake’s second?petition in Texas, involving the label and iHeartMedia. The hearing in Texas court was scheduled for Jan. 28. ????
