I get asked about coaching quite frequently. What is coaching? What do coaches do? Can I become a coach?
The answer to the last question is yes! And the I'd like to share the answers to the previous questions as well.
It's been over a decade since I earned my leadership coaching certification. The training and experience was some of the best I've ever had. It's made me a better leader, communicator and consultant.
Here are 6 articles I've written about what coaching is, what skills are involved, how to apply them and how to think (and lead) like a coach. Some of the information is excerpted from my book Ignite Your Leadership Expertise. The content is about 95% of everything I learned in my training and as an organizational development professional.
