EVERYTHING NEEDED TO STOP THE COVID -19 NANNIE STATE I LEARNED IN AN OIL AND GAS LEASE.

As a Landman, and oil and gas professional, I always loved the two clauses in the Oil and Gas Lease (“OGL”) that waived all liability for the landowner: 

1) Hold Harmless 

2) Indemnity 

These two clauses exist to protect the landowner against any liability arising from environmental damage or personal injury that might occur when the oil and gas company explores for oil & gas.  

These two clauses are the solution to stop the medical/municipal tyranny and loss of individual freedoms growing across the country in the wake of the never ending covid pandemic.  My solution is that all events, restaurants, and businesses should open 100% to the public (mask voluntary, not required), assuming all people entering public businesses agree to hold the business venue harmless, and indemnify the business owner from liability should any patron contract covid-19.  There could be a sign-in hold harmless/indemnity agreement before you enter each place of business.  This offers a win-win solution for every single American that enjoyed their pre-covid individual liberties.  Under this plan businesses across the U.S. will return to normal, unemployment numbers will plummet, the bickering for government bailouts will stop, and most importantly - individuals will be able to control their own activities without asking permission from the state!

This great nation was built on the idea of liberty for all, on the foundation of individual rights, which gives "We The People" control of our own destiny.  As the 10th Amendment to the Bill of Rights States:  The Powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by the States, are reserved for the States, respectively, or to the People.  I humbly implore all people living in this glorious nation, to fight for our rights, and demand a return to normal before our liberties are lost forever.
