Everything Has A Season, Know When To Pivot....

"EVERYTHING HAS A SEASON, KNOW WHEN TO PIVOT..." I titled this month's article this because I have had to do this recently with my Social Discussion Panel Show, "Ground Floor" "Where We Can Agree To Disagree & Still Be Family." My Amazing Entrepreneur Co-Host Teri needed to step away for now. I Truly Thank Her For Her Time, Input, Energy, Ideas, The Phenomenal Woman She is that helped lay the Foundation for the show, Being a GREAT CO-HOST! And being there every episode for 2 Seasons. Now this left me having to figure out which direction to take the show. My journey to building THE JLE BRAND into a MultiMedia Billion Dollar Brand & Company I have to be totally Transparent with my Audience and the Public. I thought for a moment to discontinue the show.

My weekends are a little full bringing my Listeners The Best Content Possible for "JLE FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHTS" but its a lot that goes into each show. Not too mention the editing of each show, then posting the Reels on all my Social Media Platforms. I want to say THANK YOU to my Audience in 32 Countries for rocking with and supporting All 3 Middle Ground Brand Shows(Middle Ground with JLE, The Sports Lounge with JLE & Marte', Ground Floor). Back to what I was saying, I weighed the Pro and Cons of stop doing Ground Floor. I asked God for Guidance. Then I went to my Facebook Music Page "Jeffrey L. Edwards" and I was reminded by the number of views my Reels get with an average of over 100 Plays. Then most IMPORTANT I would be breaking my #1 Rule, I vowed after 23 years it took through dropping out of Wayne State University back in 2008 then started back January 2013 to August 2020 nonstop til I finished my Mike Ilitch School of Business, Business Management Degree. That #1 Rule being "Start Something Finish It, See It Til The End". So I can't quit.

Now I was in pivot mode do I do the show by myself, get another Co-Host, A Panel to do the show? I decided to have rotating Guest Co-Hosts. I reached out to some to see who would be willing and available. I have a few that said yes. To my surprise my Squad Family who had been a Guest but didn't find his voice or was hesitant, is coming with "That Fire" to Speak on all issues. I knew he had a lot to say, like a few others I know who have something to say but might not be ready to speak on it. In time they will. I am now in SEASON 3 OF GROUND FLOOR & I see the Topics and Content is going to be some heat .

If you're reading this look at my example of how things can change and how you respond to the change. Your first impulse might be like me close up shop and move on, but after the shock and doubt of what's next passes sit still and re-evaluate the situation and what's the best way to move forward. Chess not Checkers. Plan steps ahead of what you are going to do. Ask God for Wisdom then it's up to you to do the work. Remember most Successful Brands have had to Pivot at some point in their existence. The Key is how you respond and move forward. For me My journey, My Purpose( to take THE JLE BRAND(MIDDLE GROUND WITH JLE, THE SPORTS LOUNGE WITH JLE & MARTE', GROUND FLOOR) ACROSS THE PLANET AND EMPLOY OVER 10,000 PEOPLE, MY NONPROFIT, MY BUILDING TO HOUSE MY RADIO/BROADCASTING COMPANY, SKITS/TV SHOWS/BOOKS/MUSIC/MOVIES & MORE) IS NOT DONE!
