Everything Good Comes From Change

It’s at this time of year many of us are going through changes based on new goals we have set and commitments to nurture new, more positive habits to ensure that we continue to grow and thrive. 

I also know for some people the very thought of change can lead to anxiety, a sense of fear at the mere prospect of needing to make changes. I understand that, but please remember that change is good, and when we see it this way it can empower us. 

So, let me give you three reasons why embracing change is the best thing you can do right now. 

• Change closes doors that are no longer serving us and it opens doors to bigger, better opportunities. We all have actions and habits that don’t align with our vision, and it’s only when we recognise them and free ourselves from them that we can create space for new habits that will lead to new opportunities. 
• Change frees us from people and circumstances that are not serving our better self and highest good. Just as with our habits, we also all have people in our lives who hold us back, either consciously or subconsciously, and it’s only when move away from them that we can grow into our best self. It isn’t easy, as some of these people are very close to us, but we have to act in our best interests and be the best we can be. 
• Everything good comes from change. Every day we’re evolving, every day we are changing and if we look at where we are now and what we have, it’s because we have been willing to make changes. Some changes are easier than others, so be brave, embrace the prospect of change and know that the greatest rewards in life will come from the changes you’re prepared to make.
