Everything Is Connected

Everything Is Connected

Everything is connected. The recent epidemic, I think, has bought it home. Throughout the United States, many small businesses closed.

It is so true that everything is connected. What affects one small business often also affects another small business in the same community.

Small business owners suffered through one set back after another. Employers laid-off employees. Rent and utilities still had to be be paid.

On a recent grocery store run, I saw a local fast food that had closed its doors. The building was empty. It was obvious this business had gone under. In the coming days and weeks, this may be a common sight.

Once this epidemic subsidizes, there will be some business that won't come back. They will go under. A new business will come along to take its place.

Yet, it does not have to be. When our brick and mortar storefront goes through a hard time, we all need a second gig to fall back on. A Plan B might be just what you need to get you and yours through these tough times.

A few weeks ago, I had the good fortune to learn about the Youth Entrepreneur Project, otherwise, known as YEP. When I heard about it, I knew that I wanted to be a part of this movement.

YEP is a perfect marriage of a local networking group and a social media online business. I know that this sounds like a crazy mixture. However, for me, it is exactly what I was looking for.

You see, I have a brick and mortar business. At the same, I have a growing online business. What my businesses needed was a way to marry the two.

YEP offers a way for small business owners to connect and network with one another at local and virtual professional meetups. At the same time, YEP teaches people how to market their storefront online.

Plus, YEP has a business opportunity built into it. This opportunity permits a person to grow and build a second stream of income. So, it is a built-in Plan B for when your brick and mortar are struggling.

YEP has a social media library full of current trends in social media marketing. There are social media gurus who willing to share their expertise. So, you can get what you need to really grow and build locally and online.

Now, it just keeps getting better. YEP is an affordable option for small business owners. You get the bang for the buck with YEP.

I would like to invite you to attend a virtual launch party this Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm. EDT. This is a chance to learn more about YEP. Just click on the links below. And, oh, by the way, you don't have to be in your 20's to be a part of YEP:)
