Everything changes with us.

Observing the changes in the online space over the last five years has been exhilarating and exhausting in equal measures.

On the one hand I see expansion and growth of phenomenal humans, driven by integrity and impact, leaving a trail of legacy as their work lifts hundreds, thousands, millions.

But…

I also see contraction and separation as those driven by something else leave a trail of broken clients and empty bank accounts with nothing to show for those investments but feelings of anger, shame and grief for the loss of a dream.

Those on self imposed pedestals who create an air of ‘better than’ designed to keep people small, looking up to them, hanging off every word, rushing to buy every offer.

But the words are empty, the offers unable to deliver on the promise made with so much passion, that too was empty.

I’ve been watching this for years, it started as a trickle, then a stream, now it often feels like a tsunami.

But that tide has turned, more are speaking up.

Those who are choosing to act without integrity - often wearing it as a mask - are being seen for what they are.

But I truly believe there are others who aren’t aware of the damage they’re doing. Who have learnt from those they shouldn’t have learnt from, passing down shallow strategies and unethical practices that are so nuanced they can’t see it.

They’re hidden in plain sight.

These are the people I want to help. My M.O. isn’t to call out, but to call up those who want to change.?

This is the energy I work in, I’m not available for anything else.

This new paradigm - with a focus on ethics, integrity, inclusion - is powerful. It takes my breath away as I watch others pick up the torch and light the way.?

Unlearning some of their own stuff they picked up along the way, learning new ways that will only help, becoming so much more as they rise.

I’ve trodden that path, I am treading that path. Leaning into growth, seeing my own gaps, committing to learning and unlearning as I move through my own evolution … which never ends.

Refusing to drink my own kool aid, standing shoulder to shoulder with my community and clients, knowing that experience, knowledge and money doesn’t come with a pedestal, while still acknowledging my own privilege.?

This is why I packaged up my own proven methods - developed over a decade and used on thousands - to give to others in my CPD accredited online business coach certification.

Because most business coaches don’t have the right skillset or experience to do what’s necessary in this role.

Some are experts in one area of business, but lack the full breadth and depth needed to get results for clients. Things like:

Strategy and planning

Business modelling

Structure and systems?

Legals and financials?

Marketing and sales

Mindset and energetics

All of which I added into my certification over 18 months ago … to equip a new wave of online business coaches and consultants with a solid skillset that spans the whole role, giving them the training, resources and tools they need to create results for their clients, as they create increased revenue, profit, salary and dreams for themselves.

Because actually, most business coaches aren’t coaches. They have no formal accredited coaching training. My graduates learn about this this inside … most calling themselves consultants, strategists or practitioners once they leave me as they’ve learnt the difference.

The thing is, there’s so much opportunity in our industry.

As I watch other industries stumble and fail in this climate, we continue to thrive.?

I truly believe we’ll continue to grow through the recession, as others lose their jobs and decide to follow that dream to start their own business they’d tucked away for years.
