Everyone’s Squawking About Twitter. But Is Anyone Actually Leaving?

?? Speaking of: Everyone’s loudly quitting Twitter – but who’s leaving? ?

Users, celebrities, and advertisers are all announcing their departure from Twitter. But are they truly going anywhere – or is it all just sound and fury? Robert Rose delivered a soliloquy earlier today on whether it’s time to fly the coop and the alternatives waiting in the wings.

It’s harder than ever to get people to click on your calls to action. One (counterintuitive) approach may be to stop asking them to, says Amanda Natividad, VP of marketing at SparkToro. Despite the end of the world talk on Twitter these, it’s been a barrel of fun this last week! It’s always entertaining but more so since Elon came in and broke everything. People are posting confessions, nudes, TweetUps which were a thing in 2008-‘10, professing love for others, and being more honest than before with their political views. Someone compared it to the feared plane crash in Cameron Crowe’s movie, Almost Famous. Confessions galore.
