Everyone Striving for Greatness.

World is a funny place.  I mean funny in a sense of amusing.  Humans, each of us ... So similar, the SAME, really, in-the-end.  We all bleed red, and we all blush, laugh, and cry.

We've been driven apart for reasons everyone has witnessed ... Strangeness to many, but normality for others.  That's what I've learned over this past year, travelling Canada, USA, UK, and Uruguay ... We're all the same, we all want to make friends ... Some seem to struggle, some seem to excel.  Truly, there must be some differentiation among us.

We know that everyone has unique skillsets ... Think back to elementary school.  We were a group of kids, all mumbojumbo'd together, figuring it out.  Highschool, we may have seperated a bit, grouped ourselves as if we were "like-terms" (yep, in the end, math rules work) ... The "Birds of a feather, flock together".

By the time we got to University / College / Workplace, we ALL had found a commonality.  It doesn't matter what that commonality was, it could have been ANYTHING (sports, computers, arts, drugs, trades, labour, etc.).  Most of us, found our place.

Then, we stick together.  We become complacent and competent in our social circles, and our unique skillsets within them.  If we were lucky, we landed with a bunch of Folks with complementary skillsets that would thrust each other towards greatness. Teamwork to Success.

Interestingly, the Irish in me (~25%) believes in Luck; in fact my Brother and I found a small rainbow in a waterfall (Hamilton, Onario = Waterfall Capital of the World) ... on St. Patrick's Day.

I never, ever judge someone's belief system, we've grown too much in society to do so ... So I'll tell y'all, that Luck, is a real-thing.  Something we have the opportunity to evolve and build upon.  Something that we must be aware of and 'capitalize' on.  It's the "Lose Yourself" Moment that ultimately, EVERYONE, faces ... Often a few times in life.

Anyway, in the heat-of-the-moment, with excitement of St. Patty's Day and the beauty of the sun shining through the mist, I encouraged 'Addie' to circle the Rainbow, for the Legend of it. In that, I'm 99% sure we cornered ourselves a Leprechaun; at BOTH ends of his Rainbow.  You know what that means?  We earned the 'Pot of Gold'.

Does the mystical-legend of Luck really matter?  I suppose that depends on what you use to motivate yourself.  Does the belief in any 'greater being' ring-true for everyone?  Does the belief of evolving systemically ring-true for everyone?  That's not for any of us to judge.  It's private to each Human that walks the Earth; good, bad, and sometimes ugly (unfortunately).

My Point?  It really doesn't matter what 'floats your boat', in the end, that's for YOU to decide.  You are absolutely in-control of your destiny; or AT LEAST, have the ability to influence it in the moments where your heart-beats-fast, palms sweat, knee's go weak, and arms get heavy.  Those are the moments where you MUST step-up, and you know it.  It's your choice; and only yours. Become aware of your "Lose Yourself" moment.

Anyone striving for greatness likely has their own-version of this realization, this story, this life.  You need something, ANYTHING, that you can beleive in that pushes you forward, and makes you comfortable doing it.  Pick your battle, and win it.  Do it with Passion, and you'll be A-OK.  Work hard, commit 100%, and collaborate / learn something every day.

I'll wrap this up hoping I've inspired something, re-kindled a fire within, or confirmed your progress ...  I encourage you to complement, encourage, and motivate ANYONE around you.  Tell them, "Good job, you're working hard".  Ultimately, believe in yourself, someone has to.

I wish Luck to everyone who made it this far.  When the day fades and night rolls in, look up at the sky, pick your star ... "Starlight, so bright, the first star, I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might ...  Have this wish, I wish tonight ..."
