...Instead let's focus on being more Disciplined in our approach to Scrum!
Agile and "Frameworks" seem to go hand-in-hand. Everyone knows the "1,000 lb Gorilla in the Room" (whose name will not be mentioned) with the great marketing and sales team. But another one caught my eye...Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD).
I couldn't care less about the framework, but the name caught my eye because Discipline (aka attention to detail) is often the most important thing that goes missing in any Agile Transformation or Adoption. If you can't master the basics of a lean Agile approach to Scrum how are you going to implement and leverage these exponentially more complex frameworks, should you choose to use them?
Delivery can improve by leveraging a lean Agile approach to Scrum if you simply adopt a more disciplined approach to how you work and pay attention to the details:
These are just a small example of areas where discipline is often lacking with Scrum Teams. Quality, delivery, and scalability will improve when teams focus on a disciplined approach to their Agile implementation rather than jumping on the latest bandwagon.
Let's focus on the details and don't get caught up in the marketing hype associated with these other frameworks.

2 年Spot on Todd Berry . When teams are not disciplined with the right agile practices at team level, but still decide to scale to team of teams, It will only be amplifying the dysfunctions.
