ABOUT ME - Everyone has a STORY, Well Here's Mine...

I am the world’s first SUPERHUM?IN?. On my journey to earn this name, my foes have beaten me black and blue but yet I always overcome, always! You see, it wasn’t always like this. I’ve had days where giving up overwhelmed my mind. Quitting and making up excuses seemed very easy and tempting, especially when people around me didn’t believe in what I had to offer. The fact that I always overcome doesn’t mean villains and hurdles don’t exist. I discover hardly that my illusion of being immune to stress, fatigue, and being overworked cannot last so long, despite being in a brain-unfriendly environment. Villains & hurdles in this case, always coming in the form of making “on-the-spot” decisions, and amidst the uncertainty of an incessant need for technology (which can make it difficult to turn the work world “off” when we leave the office). Despite it’s negative tendencies, I didn’t only view technology as an obstruction to my purpose, it also served as a link for growth, and this was why I became particularly fond of it. It sparked up an interest in me because it served other purposes such as helping us connect, and also as a means of learning, amongst others. But note that it could also easily be likened to fire: it can help you to cook or also burn your house down… Depending on how you make use of it.

And just like most C-Suite Leaders out there, we also all thrive on pressure, but that needs to be counterbalanced with a sense of achievement and progress. Working at increased intensity with a sense of spinning the wheels or even relentless loss can lead to burnout. Now, I know as Leaders, we are usually  expected to be stronger than the people we lead, and this results to us being exempted from care, making us rely more on our power of will and determination. But along this seemingly endless marathon, I experienced a brain injury from different challenges life threw my way. But all these battles were in preparation for who I was destined to be, and despite the attacks that came storming in, I still came out victorious!

In this hero’s journey - understanding my brain has changed everything. It has a profound effect on our ability to understand ourselves and understand others. It makes us far more effective at whatever we want to achieve. It is a powerful way to create results and lasting change. To become the hero of our own journey - and an intuitive leader to others - one can learn how to become a better leader - as being a real-life hero and knowing how to lead is not an intrinsic skill one is born with. Like any other skill, it can be learned, practiced, and implemented - with measurable results. And of course there were defeats along the line, tons of it. But the ability to get back up after you’ve been knocked down is what matters most - I rose from my defeats smarter and stronger. Lessons learnt from my guides and mentors, also played a vital role, and helped me recover from my brain injury.

I eventually found myself in the world of Neuroscience where I was to carve out a niche for myself. I got certified as a Neuroscience-based and a Neuro-leadership coach from my guides and mentors in MIT. Every superhero needs a guide, and my path to being a SUPERHUM?IN? was already clearly defined and to bring my full ability into utilization, I first studied the best neuroscientists and their novel researches.

Remember, that a hero is always introduced to new powers and skills, and encouraged to utilize their current abilities like never before. They transcend perceived limitations, learn a new way of being, and eventually face their trials. When they return back to the ordinary world, they take with them the ultimate boon – strength, clarity, flexibility, connectivity, creativity, and wisdom they discovered from their adventure. They then share their lessons and gifts with others which I have done by creating the SUPERHUM?IN? company.

I am exceptionally passionate about helping Organizations and Leaders create an energized environment where people can synergize the very best version of themselves of a shared purpose for all stakeholders, for the community, the shareholders, and the overall environment. Shared purpose shows in bottom-line results through Neuroscience.

I specialize in translating insights from the field of neuroscience and emotional intelligence into powerful, proactive and practical programs for CEOs, C-Suite Leaders. My superpowers helps provide them with all they need to realize their full potential, helping them be at their peak, and capable of overcoming the storms of business.

And for more than 15 years, I’ve worked with people of all races, socioeconomic statuses, nationalities and genders. What I‘ve discovered is that no matter where you come from, or whatever challenges you face; you have incredible potential that’s just waiting to be tapped. Every person – regardless of age, background, education, gender, or personal history – can advance beyond what they believe they deserve and is possible. In order for organizational leaders to truly create a culture that supports mental health, they must first take care of their own, including you as well.

As we have seen during this disruptive period, the greatest leaders are cognitively flexible, genuine, purposeful, caring, and ultimately super human as they create an energized environment where people can synergize the very best version of themselves.

We may have thought that we manage people, but in fact we manage cognitive functions. Brain Thinking is at the heart of business, for it is the brain that is doing the thinking; in many ways, we need to learn how to maximize our understanding of human needs, especially if we want to turnaround our performance. It is hence highly relevant to HR and Executives, not just as a way to reduce stress and improve overall culture, for the ultimate goal is to grasp how the brain can help us in this endeavor.

I am a very firm believer that we all have these incredible superpowers that are waiting to be awakened. I’m not talking about the ability to fly, or shoot lases from your eyes, but real life abilities, practical abilities like Trustworthiness, clear thinking, cognitive flexibility, enhanced mindful leadership, and more. We are all SUPERHUM?IN? and We need to revisit how we view business, and especially our purposeful leadership, it then becomes clearer than ever.

“SUPERHUM?INS aren’t born, they’re made. And that’s exactly the case for neuroleadership skills.”

That’s why my slogan is From Energy To Synergy - https://www.superhumain.org
