An Encounter with A Luminous Soul..

Lift stopped at 1st floor. I had come in from P-I and I was alone. It wasn't a busy day for the Mall. The door opened and he came in. A man in his fifties. His smile illuminated the space. The lift-man asked him for the floor and pushed the number 03, smiling. My floor. Lift-man who was earlier sitting aloof feeling a bit depressed was smiling. Was it an impact of that magical smile of the man? I was finding myself suddenly getting filled with positive energy.

The man asked him, "Hey, how are you? No rush today. Do you get bored?" Lift man looked at him with a surprising look and said, "Yes, I do get bored on week-days." The man said, " No, why you should get bored? Keep anticipating who would be the next person coming in and when. Will it be a young boy or a young girl or a woman or a man or a married couple or just a couple or a group of people or an old man or an old lady, fat or thin , an emplyee of the Mall or a visitor..and from where they could be.. Just keep imagining and check your imagination with the real  experience. Sometimes it will match, and you will feel good. More often it will be a big miss-match. You will laugh at yourself.  Use your time to improve your imagination," and then as the lift door opened on 3rd where I was also getting out,  the man asked again, " Bore hua kya. ( did you get bored?) " . Lift man was almost laughing, " No, sir no.. and keep coming sir.."..  

We both , the man and I got out and I couldn't refrain myself and asked him,       " Sir, you made him laugh, you know..". He looked at me and said, " Oh, no, he had laughter inside him. I only became a medium to bring it out and make his face bloom.. Well, have a nice time.. Take care.." And he turned to go to a food joint. And I knew the girl on the counter was in for a wonderful experience. Some people are able to illuminate space with their mere presence. Indeed, he was a Luminous Soul..
