From adopting the Eat-Lancet Planetary Health Diet framework to working with Menus of Change to integrate nutrition with social responsibility, we are using our global presence across thousands of locations to deliver the healthful and sustainable options our guests desire—demonstrating that Sodexo is taking a leadership role on everyday wellness and sustainable food. ?
Sodexo chefs, culinary professionals and dietitians utilize our global culinary principles to embed nutrition, health and wellness into our menus through the ingredients we select locally, the design of our recipes and menus, and the cooking techniques our culinary teams use. Guest satisfaction is a top priority for our chefs who ensure we offer menu options that are not only delicious and healthy but also served in satisfying portions—making it easy for our guests to choose the meals that are right for them. We use consumer behavioral science adopted from the World Resources Institute’s playbook for guiding diners towards healthy, plant-rich dishes in food service.
Our global brands Modern Recipe and Mindful were developed with our guests in mind, using wellness as a starting point for our creative, seasonal and exciting menus. Eating well is one of the foundations of a healthy lifestyle, and our guests make health decisions daily in the workplace when they choose foods that nourish and energize them. We support our guests’ commitment to well-being and empower them to make wellness choices throughout the day, as they may be dining with us for 25 percent of their weekly meals. We take seriously the vital role our brands play in cultivating a mindset of healthy living and deliver on our promise to make the healthiest choice the easiest choice for our guests.
To put mission into action, we use our integrated Food Management System DRIVE, which manages every aspect of our food service delivery and ensures that our guests all over the world can enjoy high-quality, wellness-focused dishes with complete background information on ingredients.

Today, 89 percent of our guests globally are offered healthy lifestyle options, moving us closer to our goal of providing nutritious, delicious choices to 100 percent of our guests, and we actively promote wellness through events, incentives and marketing campaigns.
