#everybodymatters

This will be the only time, that I post something personal. I can only hope that you will be kind and supportive on your comments .. please.

Above is recent photo of my mum and myself. We were an immigrant family, and very close. Growing up in foreign country, we were primarily focused on "family first". And my motto since as far back as I can remember was to "make my family proud", till today. This was the only thing that drove me.

Some sad news to share that my mum, has passed away very recently, and my world has changed forever. We spoke every day, regardless where I may be in the world. We never missed a day. It was always a personal fear for a long time, on who would take care of her if I had passed away? And I prayed that, no matter what, that she would go first. Perhaps, my prayers were answered.

In the essence of #everybodymatters, from @Bob Chapman, a message that sent my spine tingling .. that we are all someone's precious son or daughter. We should treat people as our family. I may not have any family anymore .. and now you are all my family, and I will continue to do my best to make you proud, and support you, as #everybodymatters.

So why this post ? I wish to ask you for a personal favor .. to call someone you love, whom you were upset, just talk to them, let them talk, make them feel special .. and if you would consider lighting a simple candle with thoughts of love for my mum, please. She loved everyone, and I am trying very hard to follow her example.
