In the book Agile and Resilient – Sales leadership For The New Normal, the authors describe what the post-COVID sales landscape looks like.?One of the quotes is “Sales sells the first unit, everybody else in the company sells the second unit and every one after.”?
Well, this article is dedicated to all the DXPeople who sell every product and service after that.?We are fortunate to have been serving customers for 114 years.?From accounting, to inventory, to human resources, IT, and our warehouse experts, from our service technicians to our field support teams, it is you, the DXPeople motivate our customers to continue to buy from us.?Here’s how (6) groups of ?“everybody else” sells:
1.?????Our Inventory Management and Procurement group watches our inventory levels to insure the right combination of stocking inventory and supply chain challenges.
2.?????Our HR group recruits the talent we need to grow all of our departments.
3.?????Our IT group protects our systems from cyber attacks and ransomware invasion.
4.?????Our Marketing group keeps the cadence of our value in the niche markets we serve.
5.?????Our Accounting team(s) adhere to the compliance demands/requirements for a publicly traded company.
6.?????Our Operations teams and management complete the days work in a day philosophy to move us forward.
November is a month to reflect on gratitude and thanksgiving. Toward the end of the month we take a pause and gather as family and friends to meet, eat, drink, watch football, pick our World Cup teams, and celebrate.
Thank you to the “everybody else” teams who allow us, the sales team, to effectively and efficiently complete our roles.
Kelly
